BEING STILL

Posted on August 26, 2011 at 11:30 AM

It's hard for me to be still.  Tuesday was my surgery.  My doctor removed a stone filled gall bladder and I was put on rest for a week.  Although my husband has been great at keeping up with some of the household chores, today I'm itching to clean house.  I did a few things and found out I'm not quite ready to bounce back into action.  So I'll be still another few days and hope to be back in action by the beginning of next week.  Meanwhile, for those of you who have read at least one draft of my novel (or bits), I have a couple of questions I'd like to ask as I fill out my author profile for my editor.  PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTIONS BY REPLYING TO THE POST ON THE WEBSITE AND NOT IN THE E-MAIL SEND.

1.  What is the strongest asset in my writing?

2.  What is my weakness?

3.  Does the genre Christian Romance/Suspense make you more or less interested in buying the novel?

Thanks so much.

Shelly

You are an writer that can capture the reader's attention quickly and your descriptions open the mind to be able to imagine what and where one is supposed to be transported.
I tend to take note of grammatical errors, and the occasional spelling errors, but these can be corrected with good editing.
I love reading Christian based stories, because it strengthens my faith, scripture knowledge and how to minister to others.
I am looking forward to reading your completed stories.

Hi Shelly,
Oh my I had my gall bladder out last November. Take your time and take life easy; I tried to rush it and got very sick... We have a lull in hurricane activity and are lucky to still have power so I thought I would do some quick visiting. Have you seen the Online Campaign Building Challenge? the link is on my website and it is a lot of fun already..check it out the deadline is 8/31 to sign up. I will say a prayer for your heeling:)
